An M visa is a student visa for vocational (nonacademic) training. This is a nonimmigrant visa that requires maintenance of a residence abroad and significant ties to the student’s home country. Students must be self-supporting and cannot usually work in the U.S., but employment authorization may be available as part of a post-study training program.
MT Law works with many students on their visa applications and is available for consultation on legal issues for students already present in the U.S. Please contact us to schedule a consultation.
