Attorney Miller grew up in the Chicago area. He attended Illinois State University and had the honor of studying abroad at Oxford University in England his junior year. After college, he worked in the private sector at a major law firm in downtown Chicago before attending The John Marshall Law School on a Dean's Scholarship where he received a J.D. as well as a master’s degree in Real Estate Law.
