Do Green Card Holders Pay U.S. Taxes?

Once you obtain a green card, you automatically become a U.S. tax resident. You must declare your entire incomes to Internal Revenue Service (IRS), no matter where the income was earned. As of 2012, you must also report certain information about your foreign financial assets.
