E-1 Treaty Trader Visa
Some countries have a treaty with the U.S. that allows entry for the purpose of conducting business. These “E” visas are applied for at the consulate, and after an interview, the person is granted entry to the U.S. 2-year periods. E trader visas require a person to be entering to carry out substantial international trade operations as an executive, supervisor, or in a position requiring special qualifications.
