Kai-Jen (Kevin) Chen is an associate in MT Law’s Los Angeles office and is a member of Corporate and General Business practice. He is licensed to practice in California and Taiwan. Prior to joining MT Law, Kevin was an in-house counsel at a multi-national real estate investment company in Los Angeles, where he counseled on corporate, real estate, and intellectual property legal issues. Before he came to the United States, Kevin practiced at a business law firm in Taiwan for several years and gained extensive experience in advising international clients on a variety of commercial transactions and Taiwanese regulatory issues.
Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Law from National Taipei University. In addition, Kevin earned his LL.M., with Honors , from the Northwestern University School of Law and his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he served on the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice and a research assistant for Professor Michael Simkovic. Kevin has passed the Uniform CPA Examination in the United States and is a CPA candidate.
